How to Use StandardBrush

1. Keep the Brush Clean

Always rinse and gently wash the brush before and after use to keep it clean.

Using a brush that still has pollen or debris on it defeats the purpose of nasal cleansing.

2. Clean Whenever You Feel Nasal Irritation

If your nose feels itchy, stuffy, or irritated, simply use StandardBrush to gently remove the particles that may be causing discomfort.

3. Gently Clean Inside the Nasal Entrance

Thoroughly moisten the brush with water.

Place the brush at the entrance of the nostril and gently rotate it in a circular motion. The moisture helps loosen and wash away pollen, dust, and other foreign particles without excessive friction.

4. Wipe Away Remaining Moisture and Debris

After cleansing, gently remove excess moisture and loosened particles using the brush after it has been lightly squeezed to remove excess water.

Just as wiping your nose with a tissue covered in pollen would be ineffective, using a clean brush is important for effective nasal care.

A Closer Look

Check the “Pocket” with Your Fingertip

The entrance of the nostril contains a small recessed area where pollen, dust, and other particles can accumulate.

Before using StandardBrush, gently feel this area with your fingertip to better understand where debris tends to collect. This can help you clean the area more effectively and comfortably.

Quick Care Steps

1. Blow Your Nose

Gently blow your nose to remove loose mucus and debris before using StandardBrush.

2. Gently Wipe the Pocket3 Area

Thoroughly moisten the brush with water.

Using light pressure, gently wipe the Pocket3 area to remove mucus, pollen, dust, and other accumulated particles from the nasal entrance.

3. Wash the Brush Thoroughly

Clean the brush thoroughly after use.

Pollen, mucus, and other debris may adhere to the brush during cleaning, so proper washing is essential to maintain hygiene and effectiveness.)

4. Rotate the Brush Downward Toward the Tip of the Nose

Starting from the upper area of the nasal entrance, slowly rotate the brush while moving it downward in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Allow the brush to follow the natural contour of the nostril so that it can gently reach the area near the tip of the nose.

5. Wash the Brush Thoroughly

After cleaning, rinse and wash the brush thoroughly.

Removing any remaining mucus, pollen, dust, or debris from the brush helps maintain cleanliness and ensures optimal performance for future use.

6. Gently Clean the End Area

When the brush reaches the end area of the nasal entrance, clean gently without applying force.

This area is naturally oval-shaped. Rotate the brush lightly to ensure that all surfaces are cleaned evenly and comfortably.

7. Finish with a Final Gentle Sweep

Complete the process by making a final light pass around the entire area to remove any remaining moisture, mucus, or debris.

Tip for Greater Comfort

Using lukewarm water can soften the brush fibers, providing an even gentler and more comfortable cleaning experience.

Important Safety Information

Note 1: Avoid Excessive Scrubbing

Do not scrub the nasal tissue aggressively.

Excessive force may cause irritation, minor bleeding, or damage to the delicate nasal lining.

Note 2: Do Not Insert the Brush Too Deeply

Never force the brush deep into the nasal cavity.

Use the brush only within the accessible area of the nasal entrance and stop when you naturally feel resistance. As a general guide, insertion should remain within approximately 2 cm (0.8 inches) from the nostril opening.

Note 3: Clean the Brush Repeatedly During Use

Think of StandardBrush care the same way you think about oral hygiene.

Just as rinsing your mouth helps remove food particles before and during brushing, repeatedly washing the brush during nasal cleansing helps remove collected mucus, pollen, dust, and other debris.

Keeping the brush clean throughout the process promotes a cleaner and more effective cleansing experience.

Note 4: Blow Your Nose Gently

When blowing your nose, use gentle pressure.

Excessive force may place unnecessary stress on the nasal passages and surrounding tissues.

In actual use, please thoroughly rinse and gently wash the brush under running water before continuing the cleaning process.

Cleaning your nose with a brush that still has pollen or other debris attached to it reduces the effectiveness of nasal cleansing, so keeping the brush clean throughout use is important.
